Vittore Cossalter (1947).
Born in Terlano (prov. of Bolzano) 28 May 1947; degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Padova 13 December 1971; Research assistant (2 October 1978); Associate Professor of Applied Mechanics (7 June 1983), Professor of Applied Mechanics (17 May 1986).
The fields of present work and research are the design of mechanisms for automatic machines, the mechanics of vibrations, the modelling and simulation of mechanical systems, the dynamics of two wheel vehicles.
Hobbies: pittura, motociclismo, ciclismo.

Alberto Doria (1960).
Laurea degree in Mechanical Engineering on 21-02-1984 . Researcher since 1990. Associate Professor since 2002. Present research activity: Dynamics of two wheeled vehicles with particular emphasis on tire mechanics and vibrations. Pedalling biomechanics, simulation and experimental tests. Passive control of vibrations and noise. Author of about 60 scientific papers.

Roberto Lot (1969).
Roberto LOT (Born on 1969). Graduated from the University of Padua on 1994, PhD. in Applied Mechanics on 1998, Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering since 1999. His research work ranges from the implementation of modelling and simulation of mechanical systems (in particular in motorbike field), to synthesis of mechanisms and applied biomechanics to bikes. He is the author of about 30 scientific pubblications, most of them international.

Eng. Luca Trombetta (1980).
graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 2006/07 with the thesis "measures of the characteristics of motorcycle tires to change the parameters of use". After a scolarship granted by Dainese Spa, he begins his PhD with the theme on the development of innovative suspension for motorcycles,. His activities deal with experimental measures of motorcycles CoG and inertia and with their modal analysis.

Eng. Roberto Pegoraro (1981):
graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 2007/08 with the thesis "E'perimental and numerical analysis of the dynamic behavior of a motorcycle offroad competition". He does Motocross to competitive level, and in the last years he collaborates as tester of MX and offroad motorcycle for a famous Team. He is also a tester pilot for the magazine X OFF Road. Currently he's working on motorcycle dynamic and particularly on the experimental analysis of the suspensions' behavior.

Eng. Matteo Formentini (1982):
graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 2006/07 with a thesis on developing system for determine the mass position center of two-wheeled vehicles. In 2008 he conducted an internship of 3 months in BMW-Motorrad (D) developing methods to measure the CoG position of motorcycles. Currently he's working on experimental dynamic characterization and to study compliance influence on motorcycles stability.

Eng. Simon Bobbo (1982):
graduated in Aerospace Engeneering from University of Padua, in year 2006-2007, with a thesis pertaining the optimization of the Exhaust System of a Racing Mono Cylindric Engine. After a scolarship granted by Dainese Spa to develop the D-Air system, he begins his PhD. Currently he is mainly working on the European project "Saferider" concerning the creation of preventive and active safety systems to improve motorbike rider safety.

Eng. Roberto Sartori (1976):
graduated in Computer Engineering from Politecnico of Milan, with specialization in Automation, (title of the degree thesis: 'Analysis and development of an active braking control system for road vehicles based on the Sliding Mode approach'). Currently he works on a motorcycle simulator's software and on designing control systems for motorcycles.

Eng. Andrea Aguggiaro (1979):
graduated in Mechanical Engeneering from University of Padua, in year 2004-2005, with thesis pertaining to prestrained motorcycle frames. After a scolarship granted by Dainese Spa to develop the D-Air system, he begins his PhD. Currently he is mainly working on the development of a race motorcycle and on structure analysis and optimization.

Eng. Matteo Massaro (1980)
Graduated with honours in Mechanical Engineering from University of Padua in the 2003/2004, title of the degree thesis: 'The effect of frame compliance on motorcycle stability'; scolarship granted by Aprilia in 2005; PhD student from 2006 to 2008, topic: development of a fast multibody code for the analysis of motorcycle dynamics; internship at the Product Development Center (USA) of Harley-Davidson Motor Company in 2008, topic: modeling of motorcycle structural flexibility and rider mobility; research fellow since 2009. His research activities mainly deal with multibody modeling and simulation of mechanical systems (in particular motorcycle).

Giovanni Dalla Torre (1980): graduated in Mechanical Engineering from University of Padua in the 2003/2004 (title of the degree thesis: Numeric and Experimental Analysis of the Handling and Stability of Motorcycle Motoguzzi 750); scolarship granted by Aprilia in 2005; PhD student since 2006. His activities mainly deal with multibody modeling of mechanical system (in particular motorcycle).

graduated with honours in Mechanical Engineering from University of Padua in the 2003/2004. Currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in the field of motorcycle dynamics concentrated in the simulation and experimental test of motorcycle maneuverability and handling. His activities mainly deal with telemetric data numerical analysis.

graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Padua University in 2004 with experimental thesis about biomechanical argument. PhD. student in motorcycle Engineering, he is developing a motorcycle guide simulator.

Eng. Jim Sadauckas (1980):
graduated in mechanical engineering from the Marquette University in 2003. Currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in the field of motorcycle dynamics concentrated in the simulation and experimental test of motorcycle maneuverability and handling. Participates in repeated internships with Harley-Davidson.

Alessandro Bellati (1979):
graduated in mechanical engineering from the university of Padua in 2002-2003. Now he's taking his Ph.D. degree in the field of motorcycle safety in collaboration with DAINESE S.p.a.

He is working at multibody and FEM simulations, telemetric data analysis.

Graduated in at the University of Padua on 2001, with the follow thesis: identification of characteristics of the modern motorbyke's tyre. PhD degree with a scolarship granted by Aprilia.

Stefano Garbin (1974).
He graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Padova in 2000. The tytle of the thesis is "Virtual prototyping of a motorcycle with multy-body code Working Model 3D". PhD degree inMotorcycle Engineering. He carried out simulations with various multi-body codes, virtual prototyping and Optimal Manoeuvre Method.

Luigi Mitolo (1971).
Graduated in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico of Bari with the follow thesis "Evaluating of the braking effects on the front fork suspension of a motorbike". Phd with a grant DUCATI CORSE. He studied dynamic of racing motorbikes through simulations with multibody codes.

Roberto Berritta (1970).
University degree in Mechanical Engineering 1998. He participated in the study and manufactoring of the wheel-tester machine. He has also developed the motorbike multy-body simulation software.

Now he is a professional consultant.

Francesco Biral (1972).
Francesco Biral (1972). Graduated at the University of Padova in Mechanical Engineering on 1997. During his thesis and PhD course he was involved in motorcycle dynamics, and developed the "Optimal Manoeuver Method". At present he is employing the Optimal Manoeuvre Method as a planning block for a virtual driver, and is extending the Method to more complex vehicle models.
